The pea that was me: an egg donation story

A great way to introduce children ages 3-5 to the idea that a "very nice lady" (called a donor) helped Mommy and Daddy to bring them into their loving families. 

The very basic concept that it takes an egg, a sperm and "tummy to grow in" to make a baby and that mommy's egg wasn't working quite right "are mentioned -- but the emphasis on how much the child was wanted and how delighted Mommy and Daddy were when the child joined the family!
