The very kind koala: a surrogacy story

A great way to introduce children ages 3-5 to the idea that a "very kind lady" (called a surrogate) helped to bring them into the loving arms of their parents.

Geared toward heterosexual couples who used a gestational carrier or surrogate to grow their families, the very basic concepts that it takes an egg, a sperm and "a tummy" to make a baby and that "mommy's tummy couldn't carry a baby" are mentioned. The emphasis is on how much the child was wanted and how delighted mommy and daddy were when the child joined the family!
